Story of an Engineering Diasaster

An engineer battalion is tasked to dismantle a Bailey Bridge at Baraluma on Gilgit Skardu Road in 1982.
No officer goes with the team to supervise this highly complicated operation.
A JCO ( something higher than NCO and lower than juniormost officer ) is sent.
The bridge is triple story,single span , 190 feet long , bailey bridge.
Since the team was non technical the bridge collapses into a 110 feet deep rocky ravine.All 39 men killed !
No one held responsible ! No one punished !
This is Pakistan and Pakistan Army !
